As Parkinson’s patients, we cannot move freely like you do.
For some of us, wallking even a few steps is a
big challenge. We may have unusual slowness,
stiffness, freezing, shuffling steps, abnormal
posture or imbalance, and we fall down easily.”
There is no cure for Parkinson’s disease and it gets worse
over time. Eventually Parkinson’s patients will lose
the freedom to move. Each step they take is a victory.
That is why we call them our Parkinson’s Warriors.
We invite you to show your full support for our Kuching
Parkinson’s Warriors by registering and doing
the 5KM or 10KM Parkinson’s Run, and then, walking
the 1KM WarriorWalk together with them.
