1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website https://gritevent.com/and all services, including event planning, management, ticket sales, and registration (“Services”).   3. Services and Booking
    3.1. Service proposals and quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
    3.2. A booking is confirmed only upon our written confirmation and receipt of the specified deposit or full payment.
    3.3. All event details (date, venue, attendee count, scope) must be finalized within agreed timelines. Changes thereafter may incur additional charges.
  4. Payments & Fees
    4.1. Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
    4.2. Payment schedules will be outlined in the service agreement. Late payments may result in service suspension or event cancellation with forfeiture of deposits.
    4.3. All bank/transaction charges are borne by the client.
  5. Client Responsibilities
    5.1. The client warrants that all information provided (attendee lists, personal data, etc.) is accurate and that they have necessary permissions for us to use it.
    5.2. The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or licenses for the event (e.g., local council permits, SOCSO for staff, entertainment licenses), unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
  6. Cancellation by Client
    6.1. Cancellation must be made in writing to gritevent@gmail.com.
    6.2. Refunds will be processed according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  7. Cancellation/Postponement by Grit Event
    7.1. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), venue closure, or insufficient registrations.
    7.2. In such cases, clients will be offered a rescheduled date or a credit note. A full refund will be provided if neither is acceptable.
  8. Intellectual Property
    8.1. All event concepts, proposals, designs, marketing materials, and content created by Grit Event remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.
    8.2. Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the final deliverables for purposes related to the specific event only.
  9. Liability & Indemnification
    9.1. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fee paid by the client for the specific event.
    9.2. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profits or business opportunity.
    9.3. The client agrees to indemnify us against all claims, damages, and expenses arising from their breach of these Terms, negligence, or unlawful acts during the event.
  10. Force Majeure
    Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or utility failures.
  11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuching, Sarawak.
  12. Amendments
    We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on our website.
