Grit Event Management, in collaboration with the Borneo Sonic Music Festival 2024 and Skechers, is proud to present the Borneo Sonic Run. Scheduled to take place on October 12th, 2024, at Celebration Square, Petrajaya, Kuching, this exciting event aims to promote healthy living and community engagement. The Borneo Sonic Run is strategically planned to coincide with the highly anticipated Borneo Sonic Music Festival, creating a unique synergy that brings together music lovers and fitness enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience.

Be part of a historic moment! Jepak Bridge Run 2025 is more than just a run — it’s a celebration of Sarawak’s newest engineering marvel and a tribute to unity, health, and community spirit.

Organized by JKR Sarawak, this landmark event gives 1,000 runners a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the breathtaking Jepak Bridge on foot.

10KM Challenge

Flag-Off: 6:30 AM
Perfect for experienced runners – this route combines endurance with a rewarding view of Bintulu’s latest landmark.

 

5KM Fun Run

Flag-Off: 6:45 AM
Designed for families, first-timers, and casual runners. Celebrate community and health at your own pace.

 To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all participants must follow these guidelines:

Eligibility

  • Open to Malaysians & non-Malaysians aged 7 years and above.
  • Participants under 18 require parental/guardian consent.

Registration

  • Non-refundable & non-transferable.
  • Only registered runners with official bibs are allowed on the route.

Race Kit Collection

  • Collection details will be announced.
  • Bring a valid ID or confirmation slip to collect your kit.

Attire & Bibs

  • Bib numbers must be clearly displayed during the run.

Health & Safety

  • Runners are encouraged to undergo a medical check-up.
  • Medical personnel may withdraw participants deemed unfit.

Prohibited

  • No pets, bicycles, skateboards, or motorized devices on the route.

Conduct

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior may lead to disqualification.

Weather Policy

  • The event runs rain or shine, unless conditions are declared unsafe.

Organizer Rights

  • Organizers may make changes to the event without prior notice.
  1. Who can join?
    Anyone aged 7 and above! 10KM is ideal for seasoned runners, 5KM is great for families and beginners.
  2. How much is the registration fee?
    Just RM20, inclusive of t-shirt, medal, bib, and race support.

  1. Where does the race start and finish?
    Start & end point: Civic Centre, Bintulu
  2. Can I choose my t-shirt size?
    Yes – sizes are selected during registration (first-come, first-served).
  3. When is race kit collection?
    19 July 2025, location will be announce later in our social media.
  4. What if it rains?
    The run proceeds unless conditions are unsafe.
  5. Can I register on behalf of someone?
    Yes – as long as full details are provided.
  6. Can I transfer my slot?
    No transfers are allowed after confirmation.
  7. Is parking available?
    Yes, near the Civic Centre. Early arrival recommended.
